It was not too long ago when I stepped foot on the ice as a hockey player, 2007 was the first year that I began ice hockey in ACT.  Prior to that, I was still on the ice, but as a figure skater.   A friend of mine, who is now a fellow teammate shared some of her experiences with me, and immediately I was interested.  It was Haley White  who convinced me to join the hockey world.

I quickly learned that keeping fit for hockey was something that is so important in the sport.  In order to stay fit I actually follow a fitness program which includes; cycling, running, rowing, and body weight exercises.  I also exercise with a physiotherapist in hopes to gain more ice time.

My favourite hockey player is Sydney Crosby, he is the greatest hockey player in the world, who can deny that?

Some of my goals for this upcoming season include; improving my speed, strength and agility, to improve my puck handling skills and shot.  All of these skills will contribute to my main goal for this season, which is to become an all-round better hockey player.
