More about Olivia HallGrowing up in Canada, I started playing hockey when I was nine years old. My dad asked me if I wanted to give it a try. My brother was a hockey player, and I always looked up to him, so I was very excited given the opportunity, and boy am I happy I did. I currently train with the local hockey leagues during the winter months both Thursday and Sunday, but I always look forward to the summer season as I get to be a part of, both training with and playing with the Goannas family. Believe it or not, my dog is my personal trainer, and keeps me fit and at the top of my game both on and off the ice. Some of my goals for this season are to become that extra step quicker and stronger, to become more agile, and to increase my ability to see the ice, and to set up the perfect play. My all-time favourite player, the hockey player that I aspire to be, is my dad. Second to him is Jarome Iginla. My most memorable hockey moment is when I walk out of the dressing room and my dad has told me I have had a good game, and that he is proud of me. That is something that I strive for every single time I step on the ice. |
