More about Tania Mutch

Growing up in Canada Hockey is a national pastime and has always been a part of my life and my family.  My parents met playing hockey in University and all my siblings also play. I started playing hockey at 16 with the boys at the local rink and went on to play for my city up until Juniors where we won some regional championships.

Afterwards I played on the women’s team with my Mom, Aunt, and two sisters where we won the city championship. I was also a member of a championship intramural team that won the cup for several years at McGill University.

Coming to study in Australia I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was still an opportunity to play hockey. I am eager to play for the Goannas competing against other AWIHL teams and continue to be involved in this amazing team sport while in Australia.
