I started playing ice hockey about four years ago.  I love a challenge and after having watched it a few times, really liking how fast paced and how much fun it looked, I thought I’d give it a go.

As for fitness, I have an off-ice Goannas training program that I follow, and I also play soccer for my school to keep up my cardio.

One of my goals is to definitely be recognized and chosen as Player of the game for at least one game this season.  Another goal of mine, high on my list of goals and I hope on everyone else’s, is to beat the Newcastle Northstars.

My most memorable hockey moment was when playing for Queensland, in the Joan McKowen Memorial Trophy in 2009. During the Gold Medal game vs New South Wales, Alex, Kiana and I (the Young Guns) played the last 3 minutes of the game, with roaring cheers from the bench and crowd. We had heaps of fun!
